Shopping for the right roof bars
Horizontal roof bars are required to fix the Roof Tent to your vehicle. There are many different types of roof bars to choose from and not all will be compatible to the fixings on your vehicle roof. It is easy to find the right roof bars for your vehicle online or at your local vehicle accessory retailer. The following specifications are required to fit the roof tent;
Horizontal Roof Bars
The maximum weight capacity of the roof bars and vehicle must be greater than the roof tent weight (75Kg).
Tracks in the base of the tent are 82cm apart therefore the roof bar attachments to your vehicle must allow for this measurement to be able to fix the clamps over the bar and to the roof tent.
Fixings and Fittings
Fitting the Roof Tent to your Vehicle
Fixing the roof tent to your vehicle is easy using a simple clamp and bolt system over your roof bars. T bolts side down stainless steel tracks at the base of the roof tent which then thread through predrilled holes in the clamp either side of the roof bar. The clamps are locked down with Nylock hex nuts and tightened with the ratchet spanner provided.
Tent Base Measurements
This diagram shows the measurements of the tracks in the tent base. Roof bar length and fixings must allow for clamps running along these tracks.

Mattress Dimensions
The 9cm memory foam mattress is shaped around the hydraulic struts within the lower tent shell. Belongings can be stored in the pocket around each strut base whilst using the tent popped up.
